At ScrapNap, our mission is to combat the growing issue of fabric waste in Aotearoa by inspiring conscious consumerism and promoting sustainable fashion choices. We are dedicated to reducing the harmful impact of fast fashion by educating our community on overconsumption and providing practical, creative alternatives to landfill waste.

Through initiatives like our eco friendly events and community-driven clothing swaps, we aim to make sustainability accessible and engaging. We believe in giving textiles a second life whether it’s through our handcrafted cushion products made from repurposed fabrics or through collaborative events that encourage clothing reuse.

By connecting with like minded individuals and businesses, we’re building a movement that values mindful fashion and environmental responsibility. Together, we're working toward a future where fashion doesn't cost the earth.

Join us in our mission to turn scraps into solutions because every small swap counts.

Did you know New Zealand discards between 180,000 to 220,000 tonnes of clothing every year? That’s enough fabric waste to fill dozens of rugby fields every single year. Most of this ends up in landfills, contributing to one of the biggest environmental issues of our time: fast fashion waste.

At ScrapNap, we’re not just observing the problem we're doing something about it. Our mission is to combat fabric waste in Aotearoa by inspiring conscious consumerism, promoting sustainable fashion choices, and providing creative, practical alternatives to sending textiles to landfill.
